About
The International Conference on Sustainable and Intelligent Systems (SIS) serves as a premier multidisciplinary forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to advance the state of the art in intelligent technologies and sustainability-driven system design. The conference addresses critical global challenges by promoting the development of AI-enabled, energy-efficient, secure, and resilient systems that support sustainable digital and physical infrastructures. SIS places intelligence and sustainability at the core of system design, emphasizing how data-driven algorithms, adaptive computing, smart electronics, clean energy technologies, and environmental intelligence can jointly enable long-term efficiency, resilience, and societal impact. By bringing together expertise from computer science, electronic engineering, energy engineering, and environmental sciences, the conference fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange toward responsible and future-ready innovation.

Conference Venue and
The first edition of SIS will be hosted by the Higher National School of Renewable Energies, Environment and Sustainable Development (HNS RE2SD) in Batna, Algeria, on November 11–12, 2026. Located in eastern Algeria, Batna offers a unique setting at the crossroads of rich historical heritage and emerging scientific and technological development. Hosting SIS at a national center of excellence dedicated to renewable energy, environmental protection, and sustainable development underscores the conference’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, while providing participants with an inspiring academic environment and warm Algerian hospitality.
